The Story
Every horse culture tells one version of the same image: the mount that doesn’t flinch. The East carved them into temple pillars — horses mid-stride through impossible water, hooves finding ground where there is none. The West paints them at full gallop along surf lines, manes meeting spray. The Tanma (踏馬) glass cuts that shared moment: a powerful horse in flowing form, hooves down into layered waves, carved deep enough that the water seems to move when the glass turns. It is the top of our entire catalog — the deepest carving, the heaviest crystal, the box that opens like a book — and it earns it. Some gifts say “congratulations.” This one says “nothing was going to stop you, was it.”

How is it different from the Meiba horse glass? The Meiba (CSL-088) is the horse at rest — poised, gathering. The Tanma is the horse in motion, hooves in the waves. Stillness for the start of a career; motion for the peak of one.

Final Polishing
