Your glass is hand-cut and carefully packed in China. We say so on the product page, at checkout, and in your order confirmation — because we're proud of how it's made, and honest about how it travels.
The Cut’s Story
There’s a fifteen-minute window on a summer evening when the sky can’t decide between aqua and amber — and the whole neighborhood stops to watch it try. That gradient is what this glass keeps. The body opens in clean aqua, the light-blue of a pool at noon, and dissolves downward into warm amber, the color of every whiskey worth drinking. Between them, the bloom-cut facets scatter the two colors into each other, the way dusk actually works — not a line, but a negotiation. It’s a sunset you can hold, and it doesn’t care what the weather is doing.
Craft & Material
Two-tone hand-cut crystal — aqua body blooming into amber base. The color transition is cut, not printed, so it moves with the light.
A Ritual
The first drink of a Friday that started slow. Highball weather. Ice that cracks.
FAQ
Is the color painted on? No — the color lives in the crystal itself, layered before cutting. It can’t wear off, chip off, or fade.
Which whiskey suits it? Anything gold-to-amber. The glass was designed to echo the pour, so bourbon and Japanese blends shine.
Each pattern is drawn by hand, mapping how light will travel through every facet.
Diamond wheels carve the primary facets. One wrong angle and the piece is lost.
Each facet is refined by hand. Depth, edge, angle - adjusted until geometry becomes art.
Progressive abrasives bring out optical clarity. Light passes through without distortion.
Our crystal isn't just glass. It's K9 optical crystal — selected for its exceptional clarity, brilliance, and precision.
When we set out to create a better whiskey glass, we looked beyond tradition and focused on one thing: light. We wanted a crystal that could reveal the natural color and character of your whiskey through every precisely cut facet.
The result is crystal chosen for clarity and brilliance, shaped by hand and polished by skilled craftsmen. Its optical properties allow light to travel through the glass beautifully, while its hardness supports the crisp, precise cuts that define every Cristamor design.
