The Cut’s Story
Before surnames, before signatures, there was the shield. Medieval Europe carved family identity into blazons — chevrons, crosses, wheels — so that a knight could be known from a hundred yards by what he carried. Heraldry was the original personal brand: inherited, defended, never borrowed. The Shield cut borrows that grammar. Its clean emerald facets are arranged like a coat of arms’ field — geometry standing guard. It’s a glass for the people families quietly depend on: the ones who stand in the doorways during storms, literal and otherwise. They’d never call themselves the shield. Everyone else knows exactly what they are.
